We serve around 150 visually impaired and blind residents in the London Borough of Merton, which includes Wimbledon, Morden and Mitcham. Weekly recordings of news items from the local Guardian Newspaper and an audio Magazine are circulated for listeners.
This free service was started over 35 years ago by the late Eric Walford and we continue to serve the residents of Merton to this day.

MTN started in 1976 in a small front room, and now has its own dedicated Studio attached to The Guardian Centre, where a team of volunteers records a selection of local News every Thursday evening for our Listeners.
